If you know me, you know that I have been keeping a low profile, and so then you also know it's been on purpose. Health, sanity, and peace are emerging. I'm still flying under the radar for a while to come, and am perfectly happy doing so. Quiet is good... and healing.
And... FYI today is 10 years for hubby and me. TEN! =) this makes me very happy.

Busy Busy Bitty Girl

Hi Bitty. Nice hat. Yes it definitely helps to push on your belly so the 'stuff' comes out faster. Good thinkin' Bye bye poop! Have a safe journey!
Must have forgotten the 'courtesy flush.' Here let me give you a little nudge in the right direction.
I'm pretty sure Mom said something about wiping somewhere in this process. She's gonna be so proud of me! SOOOOooooo....Once around back:And for good measure and maybe a treat from Mom, a little wipie wipie in the front too! (Better late than never...heh.... atta girl!)

For the next death defying maneuvers from this all too obvious child prodigy and soon to be renowned gymnast: follow closely now: Swing arms back to get the most height with the jump. (Mom missed the pic of the actual jump. She is fired.)
Then stick the landing...
And finish with a humbly perfectly precious bow!
The next series of pictures of Bitty were literally taken in a time span of 45 seconds or less:
The last one just about kills me. The facial expression, especially considering the other shots in the series, but really it's SO expressive. THEN you look at what she's actually doing, and you wonder if Austin Powers has been to visit and let her know she's totally shagadellic, baby, yay!

Catchin Up

Let's see here... The last few weeks I've been to Oregon and back. Hollister and back. Palo Alto and back. Insanity and... oh wait... nope...still hanging there a while longer. Hubby has reached a mile stone birthday for which we celebrated that day, and then also had a birthday bash with his buddies a few days later. Bitty and Lu have both survived week long+ fevers of 103 and achy bodies and coughs. Grampy (Hubby's step-dad) has had pneumonia which knocked him down for several days. Hubby's bro #3 crashed grampy's truck. Yesterday Grampy got a new truck.

But onto today's adventures: RODEO BABYYYYY!

I love the rodeo. I love ranches and farms, and fields of produce. I like barns stacked high with hay. I love horses and love brushing them and talking to them and then watching their lips move when they eat out of my hand. I like the idea of being (for the most part) self sufficient on a farm. I think either later in this life, or possibly in my next life I am meant to be on a ranch on a horse and watch the sun rise. (Maybe that's what heaven will have in store for me? Wouldn't it be great to ride out across the plains with Jesus on the horse next to you?) Ok, so until this all makes its debut, I have the rodeo.
Hubby's sis (from now on referred to as Sis) came too. She too is a cowgirl at heart. She and I have been known kindred spirits since I met here when I was 17 and she was 9. Love her.
Ahem... and just a few more thing about the rodeo. I always love a good man in uniform, and here, the police men who patrol the rodeo and do traffic control, wear cowboy hats. I am happy. =) Also, something about them wranglers.... in general really. But also, to defend myself just a little bit, hubby did wear wranglers too. So we'll just leave it at that.

Family Wellness Fun

Friends put on an appreciation party of sorts.... SO fun!
If you look really really close and maybe squint your eyes a little, you can see bitty right at the nozzle of the fire hose!

Love the babies! Love the shades and sun and the fun and the friends! =)

This Is How My Day Goes...

I close my office door while I’m eating lunch so my staff doesn’t have to watch me stuff my face. Today I had a yummy taco salad. I then get an email from Mr. A asking “are you alone in there?” (as opposed to having my door shut ‘cause I’m having a meeting with a big-wig.) I reply: “Just me and my salad.” He emails back: “lol well a good balanced lunch includes I'll be right in. =-)”

Give him a minute and he barges right in. He looks at my salad curiously. I smile. I then pull out my garbage can for him to inspect. His eyebrows lift a little. He’s not buying it. He thinks that I have hidden/thrown away the lettuce from my salad again. But I have NOT. I ate that stupid lettuce today. Yay for me. Also a little bit scary that some people know me so well. Hmmmmm

Picture Stories

So many things are going on... I almost can't keep up. Lost a few days last week, but for the most part, I am back in action. Lu and her BFF went to camp a week ago. Here are the before pics:

and here the after pic: still happy and smiling, and not nearly as dirty as I anticipated:

Bitty very much capitalizing on the bobble-head look:
Then there was the 4th of July...which for us means: pancake breakfast, parade, Nat's b-day, and fireworks!

really tried to get a pic of her with the fireworks in the almost worked!

And here is the b-day girl herself with her earrings from Lala and her new fancy 8 year old party dress:

Then Nat and her BFF had their turn to go to camp, I dropped her off yesterday
And somewhere along the way we managed to pick up this straggler bag lady. She's kinda short. But handy! She eats the crumbs off the carpet. Okay... that was totally inappropriate... but this is my life...Welcome!
